A molded spherical design is manufactured in two types.
Most common type utilizes solid metal floating flanges.
It is referred to as Floating Flange Spherical Type.
The other design (for small sizes) includes female
NPT unions at each end.
This style incorporates a long radius arch, providing
additional movement capabilities when compared to
other types. The arch is self-cleaning, eliminating
the need of Filled Arch Type construction.
Utilizing a special weave fabric for reinforcement,
the spherical shape offers a high burst pressure.
