MDC’s Teflon lined TRC connector combines the high pressure rating of a metal expansion joint with the high temperature and near universal corrosion resistance of Teflon PTFE.
It is designed for services where the unreinforced JT2, JT3, JT4 or JT5 units are unsuitable. Seamless, heavy walled, isostatically molded PTFE liners provide excellent resistance to permeation. This high integrity liner offers a superior alternative to the conventional PTFE spray coated or seamed liner. They are subjected to uncompromising quality control before and after lining of the bellows.

Pressure ratings for TRC-TFE bellows are as high as 200 psig. The metallic outer bellows features uniform wall thickness and multiple ply construction for increased flexibility. The metal shell is available in most nickel alloys including Monel, Inconel, Incoloy and various types of stainless steels. Available designs include: universal joints (with PTFE lined spool), hinged, hinged-pinned and slotted, gimbal and tandem joints.

Model TRC-TFE pump connectors are available with 4 to 10 convolutions, depending on system movement requirement.
